Recently I started to miss blogging again. You may or may not have noticed that I haven’t posted anything since May. The break started in a non-intentional after we came back from a long holiday and I found out my husband deleted all the pictures in the SD card, half of which I was planning to use for future posts. Some tears were shed and my motivation plummeted, “who cares anyway” “it’s not like I have a reader following”. Having a blog as a hobby brings me so much enjoyment but it also comes with loads of pressures as it can be expensive and seemly unrewarding. Social media is the biggest culprit when I felt it was a constant reminder of things you are not doing: Read more! Exercise more! Eat more Kale! Get more readers for your blog! The constant feeling of guilt for not doing these things stops you from enjoying the things you are actually doing.
